Drake,
Where has the time gone? You are now two-and-a-half years old! Since your birthday, you went on vacation to Florida, become a big brother, and went to circus camp.
You LOVE to help everyone and being a "good helper". You open doors for people and want to help us do anything, including making lunch or dinner, vacuuming or cleaning.
Your favorite foods right now are Peanut Butter and Jelly and BBQ rib patties. Fruit is still a favorite and the sweet tooth hasn't gone away.
You are still LOVING the water...and are SO brave in big pools with your puddle jumper. You have truly mastered using it since we first tried it back in March while we were in Florida. We've been to State Farm park a couple times with our friends and to another waterpark for a birthday party and you love them, too. The waterslides are your favorite, and I'm so impressed with how well you do on them. I think you're going to love rollercoasters when you are big enough to go on them.
You love to JUMP! You will jump over the grout lines in tile at the mall, off of stairs, off the couch/chair, pretty much everywhere you can.
At church, you have moved "across the hall" with the rest of the 2 and 3-year-olds. These classes are much more structured and you have worship time where everyone comes together in one room. You love going in every week.
We're still working on counting and saying our ABC's. We say our ABC's when you're brushing your teeth. We do ABC puzzles. We play with the ABC magnets on the refrigerator. We count everything we see. One of these days I know it will start clicking and you'll be saying the whole alphabet and counting higher than we would have ever thought.
Your vocabulary is pretty impressive! You talk in complete sentences and copy everything we say. The other night, you and daddy were eating pistachios and you even said that. We were amazed.
You were doing SO well on the potty at Miss Alicia's - going 3-4 times per day when she changed your diaper. Since being home, you have not been interested in the potty at all! Momma's hoping that will change soon, but I know it's best to wait until you decide you are going to do it.
You're wearing size 2T tops, 18 month shorts, and size 7 shoes.
Before we know it, you're third birthday will be here! Happy Half Birthday, Drake!

Drake's 2nd Birthday
We've had a very busy but great day celebrating the birth of Drake yesterday!
The morning started off with chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast!
After breakfast, we had Drake's 2 year appointment.
The nurse practitioner was very impressed with how well Drake talked and that he knew his colors. (proud mom moment!) He weighed in at 27 pounds (30th percentile) and is 34.5 inches tall (50th percentile)! He gained almost four pounds and grew 3 1/4 inches since his 18 month appointment - no wonder his pants are getting too short. Since we didn't get the flu shot this fall, he ended up with two shots today which were not fun at all. Thankfully, we don't have to go back until next year and there are no shots at that appointment!
After his appointment, we headed to Dollar Tree to get items for his party, CVS, and then to lunch at Arby's.
After his nap, we went to the park! (Yep...who can believe that we were at the park in Central Illinois on February 3rd!?)
It got a little chilly, so we headed to the new soft play area at our mall.
We went out for dinner at TGIFridays, had bathtime and then off to bed for Drake so we could get some things done to prepare for his party today!!

2 years old!!
Dear Drake,
Where has the time gone? I cannot believe the amazing day of your birth was two years ago! That tiny 7lb 13oz baby has turned into a wonderful 27 pound toddler! Here are some things you should know about yourself at two years old:
Your favorite toys are hotwheels cars, Mega Blocks, the jack in the box, books (especially Go Dog Go, One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish, Goodnight Moon), puzzles and your new train set.
You love to play hide-and-seek and have learned to stay in your hiding spot until we find you (although you aren't always quiet). :-)
You like to put on mommy and daddy's shoes and can even put on and take off some of your own shoes!
Your verbal language has exploded since 18 months! You repeat just about everything we say and are putting three to four words together on a regular basis. You respond to questions with the correct answer (most of the time) and when we ask how old you are going to be, you say "2"! You will "count" 1, 2, 3 and say parts of the alphabet - A, B, C and L, M, N, O, P. It is SO cute!
You know practically every body part now - ears, eyes, head, hair, mouth, tongue, teeth, cheeks, chin, neck, knees, feet, elbows and shoulders.
You know all of the main colors - red, orange, yellow, blue, red, purple, black, silver, brown. You recognize a lot of shapes (star, circle, oval, square, rectangle, crescent) and we're also working on letter recognition. You pointed out the letter "R" to me last night.
You love to help feed Kahlua and are even tall and strong enough to open and close the sliding door to let her in and out. You are a great helper. I know that will continue when your baby brother arrives in May.
You have taken an interest in zippers. When we put on your footie pj's at night, you have to zip them up all by yourself.
Since your 18 month post, all four eye teeth came in (October)! The only ones left are your two year molars. We are working on brushing your teeth. If daddy or I sing the ABC's, you usually let us do it.
You are going potty on the toilet more and more, but we still aren't pushing it! We know that you will do it when you are ready.
You are wearing size 4 diaper.
You are in size 18 month tops and we just moved you to all size 18 month pants because your 12 month pants are just too short.
You wear size 6.5 shoes.
Drake, we are so blessed to call you our son and thank God for the privilege of raising you! Your daddy and I can't wait to see how much you grow and change over the next year - especially as you become a big brother!

18 Month Dr. Appointment
Today was Drake's 18 month doctor appointment. I don't remember if I mentioned this a while back, but our insurance coverage was up in the air for a while a couple months ago. The contract got extended until the end of September, and I'm so glad it did! This meant that Drake got to see Dr. Rosa again today. We just love her. You can see that she genuinely likes kids and wants to take care of them.
Weight - 22lbs 14oz (13th percentile)- gained 1 pound
Length - 31.25inches (22nd percentile) - grew 1 inch

It's getting harder and harder to get pictures of him at the appointments. I'm thinking his 2 year appointment will be it. Dr. Rosa was very pleased with where Drake is at developmentally. Again, the biggest concern is safety. You might be able to see that nice scratch below his left eye. I guess he fell against the sandbox at daycare this week. Perfect timing for his 18-month pictures tomorrow, huh? And, yes, he probably should have had a haircut before them, but I was nervous that the barber would cut it too short. Needless to say, these could be some interesting pictures tomorrow.

18 months!
Dear Drake,
Your daddy and I simply cannot believe you have already been here on this earth for 18 months! Where has the time gone? You are getting so big and learning new things every day. We are so blessed to have you here and call you our son.
In the past three months, you:
You wear mostly size 18 month clothes although your swim trunks and lots of shorts that are size 12 months still fit.
You wear size 4 diapers and size 5 shoe.
You are getting so independent and just a blast to be around

Your daddy and I simply cannot believe you have already been here on this earth for 18 months! Where has the time gone? You are getting so big and learning new things every day. We are so blessed to have you here and call you our son.
In the past three months, you:
- got SIX new teeth! In just a four week period, you got all four of your one-year molars as well as two more bottom incisors. It seems that this is how you will teethe - a bunch at one time and then nothing. Thankfully, you do pretty well. This makes for a total of 12 teeth!
- moved your bedtime to 7:30pm and dropped your morning nap (16 months).You now nap from 12-3pm.
- learned a few body parts! The first one was your belly button! When we ask you where your belly button is, you lift up your shirt and point to it. Now, you can point to your toes and nose as well as your little boy part. Of course daddy doesn't use the proper term, but your momma does. :-)
- learned lots of words! You have about 25 words right now including momma, dadda, woah, wow, uh oh, go, dog, shoo (shoes), no, mo (more), sigh (outside), nack (snack), cacker (cracker), car, blue, cocoa (you spilled it on the floor and repeated daddy), door, ball, duck, bubble, baby (there is a new baby at daycare), truck, nigh nigh, papa, gamma (grandma), peass (please), and buh bye. You can sign for more and wave bye bye, too!
- discovered dips! We gave you ketchup once and now you love to dip your food in ketchup or barbeque sauce.
- still love to play in water or outside, but you like doing puzzles, building with your mega blocks, and reading books, too!
- learned how to open the doors! We have the lever handles, and you are just tall enough to reach the handle and open the door. You are also tall enough to reach the buttons on the washing machine and dishwasher.And, you've burst in the restroom on momma already, too. You have also figured out how to flush the toilet. This makes me a little nervous because I am afraid you'll start putting things in there that don't belong.;-)

15 Month Dr. Appointment
Drake's 15 month doctor appointment was yesterday. We saw the Nurse Practitioner again this time...love her! She asks a lot of questions about what Drake is doing and seems very interested in him. Drake is right on track for his age. The one thing she did tell us is that our biggest concern is going to be "safety" with him. He's into EVERYTHING - opening/closing doors and drawers, climbing on things and just running around. She said he'll be the kid where you turn around and he's gone. She is SO right, even after just seeing him for 15 minutes. Drake is ALL boy!
Unfortunately, my camera battery was dead so I didn't get any pictures, but here are his stats:
They had him stand on a scale to get his weight. (sniff, sniff) I can't believe how big my baby is getting!

15 Months!
Dear Drake,
You turned 15 months old while you were spending the week with Grandma Williams. She watched you since daddy and I went on a vacation. This is only the second time we've left you overnight (the first was on our anniversary last year) and it was for SIX nights! Grandma said you were great, but she was exhausted. lol!
There have been lots of changes over the past few months. Now you:

- bring books to us so we will read to you although you don't have much of an attention span for them
- go down the stairs all by yourself (on your belly, backwards)
- climb onto your Cubs rocking chair!
- like to play peek-a-boo
- LOVE being outside
- do not like your swing
- like to "color"
- follow simple directions - go upstairs, go to your chair, bring us your shoes, sit on your bottom
- point at things you want
- can give "High 5's"...well, kind of, if momma puts her hand out you put yours to it!
- are a picky eater (We have to hide fruit from you until you are completely done with your meal.)
- drink whole milk
- drink from a straw!
- successfully get food into your mouth with a spoon!
- say momma, dadda, woah, wow, go, uh oh, dog and lots of other babbles
- still have 6 teeth (4 on top, 2 on bottom)
- are not super interested in brushing your teeth, but we're trying
- had a second haircut (March 8th)
- take two naps a day (45 minutes and 2 hours) and still sleep 11-12 hours each night
- wear size 5 shoes, walk easily and sometimes run!
- wear size 12 months clothes (some 9 month pants still fit!)
- wear size 3 diaper (although we are switching to size 4 when these run out)

Happy Birthday, Drake!!
Dear Drake,
One year ago today, you made your entrance into this world! I remember that day like it was yesterday...exactly how I felt at home, how quickly everything went once we got to the hospital, and the first time I held you! You are everything your daddy and I could have imagined and more. You have been such a good baby - healthy, sleeping great, allowing anyone to care for you - and I know you'll be a wonderful toddler, too.
While you are still perfecting walking, that is your primary mode of transportation. Once in a while you will fall down, but you stand right back up without holding onto anything.
You have learned to clap and shake your head "yes" this month.
You can say mama, dada, and I swear you said dog one day. Whenever you hear Kahlua bark you say "woof" and make the cutest face!
You are ALL boy...you love to bang your toys on the walls and table, climb on everything, and practically jump out of our arms. Of course, this means that we have had to start disciplining you already! Your latest fascination is with Kahlua's food/water bowl. You also like to throw your sippy cup on the floor at dinner. We're hoping these are both phases and you grow out of it really quickly.
Your favorite toy right now is the shape sorting toy you got at Christmas. You can even put some of the shapes in the right hole without us laying them out for you.
We got to the end of your formula on Tuesday so we made the transition to all whole milk on Wednesday. I don't think you got enough at one sitting so we offered you the sippy cup all day long. Hopefully you'll start drinking more at regular meal times so we can be sure you're getting enough.
You are still wearing size 3 diapers during the day and size 4 diapers at night. We've moved you to mostly size 12 month clothes, but lots of 9 month bottoms still fit (some 12 month pants are too long).
We are so thankful for a wonderful first year with you and can't believe how quickly it has gone!

11 Months!!
Dear Drake,
You are 11 months old! The time with you is going by so quickly and you have changed so much - from that tiny newborn baby that would just snuggle on our chests or in our arms to such a big boy that is learning to walk and talk. It makes me so happy to see you learn new things. Like the past months, this one was full of change.
You had THREE teeth (a top central incisor and both top lateral incisors) come through! This makes for a total of 6 teeth - 4 on top and 2 on bottom!
You have transitioned to all table foods (except cereal in the morning) and we ordered your very first kid's meal at a restaurant - a grilled cheese with fruit at IHOP. You feed yourself almost everything except fruits that are hard to pick up. We got you your own spoon and fork for Christmas so we'll start practicing with those soon. You are still working on the sippy cup, but getting so good with it! We also transitioned you to three bottles per day...7am, 1pm, and 7pm which is going great.
On December 23rd, you had your first haircut! We took you to a little barber shop in Uptown Normal called Shorty's. Afterwards, we took you to Moe's for your own quesadilla, and you ate almost the whole thing!
You learned to wave "bye-bye" and do it anytime you hear someone say it! You've also been talking a lot more including "dada" and "mama" on a regular basis.
At Christmas, you started getting very interested in taking steps - trying multiple times each day. You've taken up to 12 steps by yourself and stand for longer periods of time now!!
You LOVE playing with doors...opening and closing them all the time! You get so upset when I open a door and close it before you can get to it. You also love Kahlua...you'll walk or crawl up to her and lay your head on her. Lots of times she will move, but you don't mind, you just follow her. :-)
We are pretty sure you are experiencing night terrors. Once in a while, you'll wake up a few hours after going to bed crying, and we aren't able to console you. After a few minutes you calm down and go right back to sleep, but we don't like it one bit.
You celebrated your first Christmas. You were blessed with some clothes and new toys, but weren't too spoiled which we think is perfect.
You wear size 9 month clothes. You are wearing size 3 diapers during the day, but we had to move you to size 4 diapers at night.

10 months!
Dear Drake,
Where has the time gone?? I saw a one month old baby today and it's hard to remember when you were that little. Today, you are 10 months old!! In just a couple months we'll be celebrating your birthday.
Earlier this month, we had the fall time change which didn't have much of an effect on you thank goodness. You woke up early the first couple days, but since then you have been back to yourself sleeping 12 hours at night.
We started third foods on the 16th, but now you are almost exclusively on table foods! You do still have cereal in the morning and once in a while get baby food, but you are starting to refuse it. So far, you have had corn, tortillas, taco meat, bbq pork rib, zucchini, french fry, McDonald's cookies, chicken nuggets, beef sausage, cinnamon rolls, baked beans, stuffing, and tator tot casserole. Kahlua really likes when it's time for you to eat because that usually means she gets some. :-)
You are doing lots of babbling with more distinct B, G, P, M, and D sounds, but we haven't detected any real "words" yet. We're trying really hard to get you to say momma and dada, but we know it will come in time.
You have been walking with your push toy and by holding our hands for quite a while now, but this month, you started standing unassisted! You even took a couple steps between your Aunt Michelle and Uncle Jarrod at Thanksgiving.
We transitioned you to the regular tub!!
You have figured out how to shake your head "no"...although I don't think you know what it means.
Your daddy has started building forts with you! You seem to love it and I'm sure they will get bigger as the years go on!
For your first Thanksgiving, we went to Grandma & Grandpa Williams' on Thanksgiving day and then celebrated with Grandpa Patterson on Saturday.
You also had your first car accident, but you slept right through it! We hit a deer on the way home from Grandma & Grandpa's. We had to get rid of the car seat you were in which meant that you got to try out your new seat!

We've got a nasty cold around our house. Jason hasn't been feeling well since yesterday and Drake's been stuffy and coughing since earlier this week. This made for perfect timing for Drake's 9 month well baby visit which was today. I wanted her to recheck his ears since he was on an antibiotic last month for the start of an ear infection. She confirmed that it was just a cold, and I believe it could also be contributed to teething.

Drake's stats:
Weight - 18lbs 5oz (15th percentile) --- gained 3lbs
Length - 27.5 inches (50th percentile) - grew 1 inch
Head Circumference - 45.8 centimeters (65th percentile)

Dr. Rosa was pretty impressed that he is crawling, pulling up, and cruising. His chest sounded good and his ears looked good. :-) She also showed us that his two top teeth are coming in! I've been trying to get a look or feel for his top teeth for a few weeks now, but he just won't let me. No wonder....it's pretty painful, I imagine. He is constantly putting things in his mouth.
I asked her about the sippy cup since he still doesn't really take to it. She wasn't concerned since she doesn't recommend weaning from the bottle until age 1. She did say no egg whites or milk until after 1, and no peanut butter until after age 2.

He did get his finger pricked to check his iron level which was perfect. And, he didn't shed one tear!

9 months!
Dear Drake,
You are nine months old!! I cannot believe how much you keep changing every day. You are growing into quite the active little boy right before our eyes. We love to watch you contemplate and try new things.
This month you had your first real cold and ear infection. You were such a trooper though and didn't let it affect you too much. We sure hope we don't see too many more of these! At that doctor's appointment you weighed 17lbs 7 ounces.
You're still sleeping and eating good! You are extremely interested in anything you can feed yourself. The baby foods are hit and miss now. Purees that include meat need to have sweet potatoes or a fruit otherwise you aren't interested. You have also tried a few more table foods - cheese, banana, roast, pears, pancakes, and fruit & cereal bars. We also tried the biter biscuit again...you did a great job this time! You aren't taking too much interest in the sippy cup right now, but we'll keep trying.
Daddy put the gummi guard on your crib because you've started to get your two precious teeth into the side of it. :-( Thankfully it was mostly on the parts that you won't use once you go to a regular bed, but there are a few on what will be your footboard. No more teeth yet, but I think they are starting because you've been drooling again.
You are crawling everywhere! We have to keep our eyes on you now so you don't get into anything dangerous for you. When we tell you "no touch" sometimes you will look at us with that bottom lip out...so cute! You like to chase your ball all around the house including under the table. You're cruisin' and will sometimes let go. One of these days, I know you'll be standing all by yourself. You have also figured out how to walk behind your push toy! We got you your first pair of shoes this month - size 3.5 Stride Rite's.
You still like the activity table and "dentist's toy", but I think your favorite is the toy with the plunger type top. You have figured out how to use it all by yourself! The other thing you seem to like is the stairs! We don't let you go by yourself because you stop and turn around, and we don't want you to fall.
You got your first boo boo this month. You got a blister on your hand at Miss Alicia's from touching the front of the gas fireplace. She didn't have it on, but it was still warm from the pilot light. It didn't seem to bother you though which is good and you are completely healed.
You had your first trip to a pumpkin patch (Rader's Family Farms) and your first Halloween -- as a lion -- this month! I look forward to many more traditions like these.
You are wearing mostly size 9 month clothes although some 6 months clothes still fit, especially pants. You're still wearing size 2-3 diapers.
{It's hard to get you to sit still these days. :-)}

Drake, your personality is truly showing now!! You are so cute and do some of the most adorable things. One thing you have started is putting on a big cheesy grin while scrunching and breathing through your nose! You laugh and think it's SO cute!

8 Months!!
Dear Drake,
You are eight months old now! We can't believe how big you are getting. You have changed so much this month!
This month you started crawling (9/15)! You have mastered that plus moving from laying down to sitting up like a pro. You've even learned how to pull up on everything...including your crib (9/17)! You will leave one hand on something and reach for something else, too. I think you'll be cruising the furniture soon!
You have three meals (started lunch on 9/18) and take four bottles a day. You also tried meat (turkey) for the first time. Your pincer grasp is getting SO good! You really like puffs, yogurt melts and lil' crunchies for snacks. Momma gave you a biter biscuit to try. You did a great job, but momma was still too nervous when you were eating it. I think we'll wait for a little while to try it again. You've tried some table food (Ritz cracker, peas, green beans, macaroni shells, mashed potatoes, breadstick, eggs). You seemed to really like the cracker and breadstick, but you weren't too sure about the rest of it. We're still working on the sippy cup.
You LOVE Kahlua. Anytime you are down on the floor, you immediately crawl to her. Unfortunately, I don't think she feels the same way because she always gets up and moves. :-)
This is one of your favorite toys along with the music table!
You have also learned how to reach up for us. But, you only do it when we come to you with our arms out.
You took your first airplane ride and have visited five states now - IL, WI, TN, KY, & AZ!
You still LOVE your baths and being outside. Both of those things cheer you up right away! You went on a baby swing at the park for the first time!
You're wearing size 9 months clothes. You are in size 2 diaper during the day and size 2-3 overnight. We are still loving the Pampers overnight and Huggies or Pampers during the day. We'll be transitioning to size 3 when the last few size 2 diapers are gone.
We love you so much and thank God for blessing us with you!

7 Months!
Dear Drake,
Today is your seven month birthday! Your daddy and I are amazed at how much you have changed over the past month and love you more and more each day. We thank God for such a wonderful blessing daily.
You started fruits this month - apples, peaches, bananas, and prunes -- as well as your last stage 1 veggie - green beans. We have moved to stage 2 veggies, and we'll be moving to stage 2 fruits next week (after you try pears). The only thing you aren't a fan of so far are prunes, and momma doesn't blame you. You also started puffs this month and love them! Momma usually has to put them in your mouth, but you got one all by yourself yesterday! You also moved to your level 3 nipple this month! Right now, you eat cereal and fruit in the morning and cereal and a veggie in the evening with puffs. We haven't started lunch yet, but we'll probably do that soon.
About two weeks ago, we noticed your first tooth just below the skin. One bottom incisor poked through on the 21st and your second one poked through one week later! You have been a little more fussy during this time, but the biggest change is that you don't want to eat your bottle. I think we might finally be back to normal because you took 2-6 ounce bottles for Miss Alicia today. I've tried getting a picture of your little teeth, but you aren't letting me! :-)
We were giving you your cereal and fruit/veggie in the bumbo, but you've discovered that you can get your feet onto the table and move yourself. So, we pulled out the booster seat! You are doing great in it and even sat in the highchair at a restaurant tonight!
No more paci! You were only using it when you went to sleep or were really tired, but just after you turned six months old, you quit taking it. Yeah!
This month, you have also learned how to sit up all by yourself!
Since you are sitting so well, we decided to try out sitting during bathtime! It has been quite an adjustment for momma, but it's working great now. You love it and don't want to get out of the bath when it's time to get ready for bed.
And, you are working on crawling!!! You had been moving around in circles on your belly trying to get toys for a while, but now you're doing an army craw. You can pull your knees under you so you are on all fours, too. I don't think it will be long before you are crawling with your belly off the floor.
You still LOVE to be standing. When we hold your hands, you'll even take a few steps forward. Daddy has already started the babyproofing!
You went to your first Cubs game this month. The weather was perfect, but unfortunately the Cubbies didn't pull out a win for you. You did a great job, too, considering the game was right in the middle of your naptime. We can't wait to take you to many more games!!
We took our first solo road trip to Wisconsin. Daddy was in Joliet at the races with grandpa, so we headed north to Carter's birthday party. You did a great job riding in the car and enjoyed the time visiting friends.
You're in size 2 diapers and size 6 months clothes. We'll be moving to size 9 months clothes really soon though. I think you have a long torso just like your momma.

6 Month Dr. Appointment
Today was Drake's 6 month well baby visit! We saw the nurse practitioner again because we couldn't get in to his normal pediatrician.
Drake's stats:
Weight - 15lbs 5oz (15th percentile) --- gained 2lbs 11.5 ounces
Length - 26.5 inches (50th percentile) - grew 2.25 inches
Head Circumference - 17.1 inches (50th percentile)
He had one oral vaccine and three shots again this time. It took us a while to calm him down afterwards since it wasn't time for a bottle, but now he's taking a nice long nap. :-)Head Circumference - 17.1 inches (50th percentile)
The NP said he was meeting all the developmental milestones, and that he should definitely be on three meals a day by his 9-month appointment. (He's getting 2 meals a day right now.) She also told us what we should be seeing in the next couple months - crawling, scooting around furniture, eating some table foods, and teeth!

Six Months!
Dear Drake,
Today is your half birthday! Six months ago, we were anxiously awaiting your arrival and today we get to see your fun smile every day!
You are such a good baby. You've been taking 2-2 hour naps pretty much every day. Sometimes, you sneak in a catnap in the late afternoon. And, the best part is that you're still sleeping 12 hours overnight (7am-7pm)!
You have moved to a 4-hour eating schedule (7am, 11am, 3pm, & 7pm) with 7 ounces of formula at each feeding. You've had all of the grains (barley started July 7th) and most of the veggies:
You have also tried your sippy cup! I gave you diluted apple juice on July 13th. You knew what to do with the cup, but you didn't get much juice out. Now, you like to chew on the nipple and spill it all over you. :-)
There is no crawling yet. You can pull your knees underneath you and push all the way up on your arms, but not at the same time. When we put you down on your back, you roll over to your belly almost instantly. If you want to get to a toy, you'll turn in circles on your belly. lol!
You don't have any teeth yet, but you've been drooling for about 4 months now. :-)
You still LOVE bath time. If you are fussy, and we go upstairs to the bathroom, you immediately quiet down and get excited. We have had some trouble getting the pool ready this year, but you were able to go in it for the first time on July 15th. It was the temperature of bath water, and you loved it!
You LOVE to be outside! Momma got you a swing from a neighbor and Daddy hung it on the pergola. You tried it out for the first time on July 14th.
You've had some tough evenings due to the teething, but the instant we take you outside, you calm down! Now I'm wondering what we're going to do in the winter. lol! You took your first ride as a big boy in the stroller on August 1st.
I think you had your first experience with stranger anxiety. One of the neighbor's friends was holding you, and you started crying until momma came to the rescue.
You can sit up so good in the bumbo! You're even starting to sit up on the floor by yourself, but you still topple over after a short time so we have to be right beside you.
Since just a couple weeks old, you have always pushed your legs straight and now you love to stand! We still have to be right next to you, but I don't think it will be long for you to scoot around the furniture.
Jumperoo - LOVING it! And, you must be growing because you can now touch the floor without a pillow under it! You are still using the bouncer, swing, and playmat, but not nearly as much.
Kahlua and you are becoming quite the buddies! Something about her just makes you smile and laugh. It's really cute, except when we're trying to feed you your dinner. :-)
It has been a crazy few months, but you finally met your grandpa Charlie on July 17th. And, I didn't get any pictures. :-(
