In high school, I was at our county fair every night with my friends. Since leaving home, I haven't been. I'm sure some of you are thinking..."Yeah, so what?", but to me the fair was a lot of fun. Jason's employer used to have a lunch at the fair each year, but we were usually out of town or had other plans. They don't do this anymore. This year, we bought the discount tickets through his work so we could take Drake. We weren't there very long since we both had to work yesterday and Drake goes to bed at 7:30pm, but we had a good time.

We walked through all of the animals, a little bit of the 4-H exhibits and through the rides. Drake was so worn out, he almost fell asleep on my back. We skipped the funnel cake, but it's definitely on the list for next year! I'm sure he'll be up for some of the rides and maybe even a pony ride next year, too!

So much fun! Looks like Drake (and you guys) had a great time! And it is always nice to do something to wear them out before bed too :)
We didn't take Emery this year, but we are totally taking her next year. I would like to take her to the Houston Rodeo, but it's gets sooo crowded. Looks like Drake had a good time. :o)
