Fertilization Report

Things are still looking pretty good. I got the call with the fertilization report this morning. Of the 12 retrieved, only 8 were mature...of those 8, only 5 fertilized with ICSI. So, we are headed towards a 3-day transfer on Friday morning. I'll know what time our transfer is scheduled this afternoon.

Last time, we transferred two really nice embryos...I'm not sure what we are going to do this time. I think it will depend on their grading, but I need to find out when we can make that decision. Jason and I would consider putting three back, but I'm not sure of Dr. J's thoughts on that. We'll see!

Sounds great. Five is a perfect number to be working with... not too many but enough that you can choose the best two or three to put back. I put back two embryos (an 8 and 9 cell) and have twins. Another Dr. J success story put back three embryos (2 good and 1fair) and had twins.

I'm glad that you have 5 that are still going strong. Your cycle sounds a lot like the cycle I had when I became pregnant with Bo.

Dr. J wouldn't put back three for me he said I am just too short. You look like you are taller, so he may be willing to give it a go. Triplets would be pretty scary though!
